Link3 in practice: social links and embedded swaps
· last updated
Link3 is a Web3 profile platform that gathers community links and supports embedded features. Social links lead to separate channels, while a profile that includes the Uniswap block can present a token-swap interface within the page.
Social links point to separate channels
The links hub collects destinations such as X, Discord, Telegram, and YouTube. A project can use its profile as a common entry point for community conversations, announcements, and videos. Each linked channel remains a separate destination, with the profile organizing access to it.
How to read the embedded swap
Uniswap is among Link3's customizable Web3 integrations. A profile doesn't automatically contain every integration: its selected blocks determine what's displayed. When the swap block is present, asset and amount fields appear alongside the profile's other content. Link3 provides the surrounding profile, and the Uniswap integration supplies the swap feature.
The Link3 2.0 feature presentation shows USDT under Pay and ETH under Receive. In that displayed pair, Pay identifies USDT as the asset offered for exchange, while Receive identifies ETH as the asset sought in return. These are the input and output sides of the swap interface.
Choose the link or block that fits the task
- If the task continues in a community channel, use that channel's entry in the links hub.
- If you want an exchange interface within the profile, look for the embedded Uniswap block with Pay and Receive fields.
- If a particular token pair or network is required, confirm support in the embedded service before choosing that profile for the exchange.
