Link3 NFT gallery

· last updated

Link3's NFT gallery displays NFT collections within a Web3 profile. The Link3 2.0 presentation shows a Mocaverse collection card with its name, description, item and owner counts, a floor-price figure, and a separate total-value figure.

What the collection fields show

The Mocaverse illustration brings together collection counts and ETH-denominated figures. Each field has a different meaning:

Items
The number of NFTs in the displayed collection.
Owners
The reported number of owners of that collection.
Floor
The reported lowest listing price for an NFT in the collection, shown in ETH in the Mocaverse illustration.
Total value
A separate value figure, also shown in ETH in that illustration. The display doesn't specify its calculation basis.

Items and Owners describe the collection. Neither field states how many NFTs the person displaying the gallery holds. Keep the two ETH figures separate, too: the floor figure alone doesn't explain how Total Value was calculated.

Why can items outnumber owners?

One owner can hold several NFTs. Suppose a hypothetical gallery card reports 8 864 items and 2 216 owners, with both counts describing the same collection at the same point in time. A visitor wants to understand the relationship between the collection's size and its owner count.

Dividing the two hypothetical counts gives 8 864 ÷ 2 216 = 4 NFTs per reported owner on average. It doesn't mean that every owner holds four NFTs, and it doesn't reveal the profile owner's holdings.

If the item count stays fixed while the reported owner count increases, the average decreases. The calculation remains meaningful only when both counts cover the same collection and measurement point.
